A sporty estate – the new ABT Audi A6 Avant
It’s assertive, no doubt, the ABT Audi A6 Avant. And it is indeed elegant and powerful, be it in front of an opera house or in a Hockenheimring car park. That it feels at home at race tracks is signalled by the ABT acronym, too. The numbers speak the same language: The most powerful turbo diesel with 3l cc is ABT-POWER-tuned to a racy 300 hp/221 kW (serial model: 245 hp/180 kW). The less powerful serial 3.0 TDI version only has 240 hp or 177 kW (serial model: 204 hp/150 kW). The best sports-estate combination is the tuned V6 Otto engine. The sporty 300 hp of the basic version is tuned to enormous 420 hp (309 kW). And the premium car is also a sprinter: The ABT Audi A6 Avant needs exactly five seconds to get from naught to 100 km/h.
Regardless of what engine version you want, you will always get a balanced car that meets the highest standards: Dependability and long-haul capacity plus a maximum of sportiness. After all, you don’t want to do without comfort and luxury just because you are in a hurry.

It is the brains, responsible for capturing, analysing and translating into specific commands all the pertinent data and parameters like engine temperature, air and fuel masses. ABT ENGINE CONTROL - ABT POWER „NEW GENERATION“
Engine technology sees a constant development. Thanks to high-tech electronics, cars are now getting ever more perfect. And in terms of performance, a new era has now also been ushered in by ABT Engine Control. Specially developed for the latest engine generations to optimise the optimum. The advantages are obvious: If you have two “brains”, either can focus upon what it does best. For ABT Engine Control, this means. All performance-relevant measurements and parameters are analysed, fine-tuned and translated into ABT POWER commands in an extra control unit. And for you, this means maximum fun and even more safety. Even if there is a defect, which is highly unlikely, the fixed ABT Engine Control unit is still fully functional.
ABT POWER & CO2
A better performance in the same exhaust emission category. A better performance does not necessarily mean higher CO2 emissions. At least not with ABT. While a serial model of the latest engine generation emits 0.9 to 1.0 g/hp, using ABT Power and ABT Power S reduces this level to down to 0.7 g/hp.
So the hp-based CO2 emissions are lowered by up to 30 per cent. A better performance, but no higher CO2 emissions. And the previous exhaust emission category still applies.
