The most powerful serial diesel-powered car outdoes itself

A compression-ignition engine with a torque of 1200 Nm and 560 hp (412 kW)? No, ABT Sportsline has not suddenly become involved in the production of HGVs. The globally largest tuner of cars produced by the Volkswagen Group only took it upon itself to make the most powerful diesel engine for passenger cars, featured by the Audi Q7, even better.

The 5m-long SUV with its 500hp (368 kW) and 1000 Nm in its basic version is anyone’s ace up their sleeve to begin with. But within the framework of their ABT POWER programme, the Allgäu-based company is now putting the icing on the cake. An icing that will leave behind many another  sports car. To give you an example: The 2.6t vehicle with its 6-spped tip-tronic accelerates from naught to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and has a top speed of 258 km/h.
