ELECTRIFYING

THAT'S THE FIA FORMULA E

Formula E is the first race series worldwide for pure electric powered formula cars. The races are not staged on permanent race tracks, but in fact in the heart of the largest metropolises around the globe. The championship celebrated its premiere in September 2014 in Peking, and has since established itself securely in the motorsport world.

The ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport team has been a member of the Formula E family since the very beginnings. The team developed a complete drivetrain together with exclusive technology partner Schaeffler for the second season and was instrumental in shaping the series with its drivers Lucas di Grassi and Daniel Abt: the only German team in the international starter field boasts ten podium finishes including three victories.

The new Formel E season with an estimated 12 races at ten events opens on October 9 in Hong Kong. Races follow at new venues such as Marrakesh, Brussels and New York. The finale is held at the end of July 2017 in Montreal.
